We’re thrilled to have you join us and can’t wait to help you make the most of this opportunity. The application process and timeline are outlined below.

Initial Application
Participants from CCSA Institutions
Participants complete a simple initial application on the CCSA website. This short, guided process should take about 20 minutes. See CCSA admissions requirements.

Participants from Non-CCSA Institutions
In addition to the items required for participants from CCSA institutions, you will need to provide the following:

Academic Approval Form - signed by either your study abroad office or academic advisor at your institution

Faculty Recommendation - Brief recommendation addressing your ability to commit to and complete a short study abroad program

Campus Approval Process
Participants from CCSA Institutions
Ensure you have started an application with your home campus study abroad office. If your application is approved by your home campus, you will be automatically notified via email.
Participants from Non-CCSA Institutions
Once materials have been received by CCSA, the they will be reviewed and you'll receive a message.
Course Confirmation

Approved (Course Confirmed)
Congratulations! Your application will now indicate Course Confirmed when you log in.
Time to start getting prepared for your trip.
Waitlist
You are waitlisted by order of program deposit paid. Don't be discouraged! Most of our applicants on a waitlist end up obtaining a spot in a course. You are welcome to:

Switch to a course that does not have a waitlist.

Stay on the waitlist for your course. Spots often become available.

Orientation
All CCSA participants are required to attend a mandatory online CCSA orientation before departure. Times and dates are released by the CCSA office. Once onsite, you'll have another orientation session.
Some participants may also need to attend their home-campus study abroad orientation as assigned by their education abroad office.
