A Typical Day in London
No two days are exactly alike during the London Winter Program. While each course follows its own itinerary, students can expect a mix of faculty-led activities, site visits, cultural experiences, excursions, and opportunities for independent exploration. Here's a sample of what your time abroad might look like.
Day 1: Depart for London
Your adventure begins with an overnight flight to the United Kingdom.

Day 2: Welcome to London
Arrive in London, settle into your accommodations, and get acquainted with your neighborhood through a guided orientation walk. Meet your classmates and faculty as you begin your international experience.
Day 3: Discovering the City
Explore iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, and Westminster. Learn how London's history, politics, culture, and architecture have shaped one of the world's most influential cities.
Day 4: London as Your Classroom
Visit museums, historic sites, galleries, archives, healthcare institutions, businesses, or cultural organizations connected to your course. These experiences help bring course concepts to life through direct engagement with the people and places that shape London.
Day 5: Theatre and Culture
Spend the day exploring the arts, culture, and traditions that help define London. Depending on your course, activities may include theatre performances, museum visits, cultural sites, or experiences connected to the city's rich creative heritage.

Day 8: A Day Beyond London
Travel outside the city for a full-day excursion. Past programs have explored destinations such as Oxford, Bath, Canterbury, Dover, and Stratford-upon-Avon, providing a deeper understanding of British history and culture.
Day 9: London's Hidden Stories
Explore neighborhoods beyond the postcard landmarks. From historic markets and immigrant communities to creative districts and local gathering places, you'll discover the many stories that make London one of the world's most dynamic cities.

Depending on your course, you may visit literary landmarks, business districts, museums, healthcare institutions, historic sites, or cultural organizations that connect directly to your field of study.

Enjoy additional time to experience London at your own pace. Many students use this day to revisit favorite neighborhoods, explore museums, or experience parts of the city they haven't yet seen.
Day 12: Reflection and Celebration
